Katy Youth Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an equal opportunity softball program for girl’s ages 5-18 years old. KGSA is organized and administered by an all-volunteer Board of Directors who each shares a common mission to provide an opportunity for girls of similar age and dissimilar abilities to participate in an organized softball program.

The organization, which is celebrating over 35 years as Katy's largest and best softball league in Harris County requires a tremendous amount of community and family support. This support is received in several ways. KGSA relies on the enthusiastic participation of Head and Assistant Parent Coaches and on the generous sponsorships and donations which help offset the cost of running the program allowing us to minimize player registration fees.

Sponsorship support is received by local businesses and fundraising activities by the league teams and its families. KGSA also is made up of several volunteers working year-round to keep KGSA ready to play ball during both Spring and Fall Seasons.

Softball Tournaments during the year are also planned, organized and implemented with KGSA volunteers and our Tournament Teams. Volunteers make up the heart and soul of KGSA’s softball family.

Katy Girls Softball is helping build character in each young girl that plays on our fields. It’s been proven over time that girls who participate in organized sports have more self-esteem, score higher on standardized test, and make better grades.  KGSA and its Board of Directors along with the many volunteer coaches are committed to the development of your child for future success through fun competition!

Volunteers will always be the heart and soul of Katy Girls Softball.  Please help your organization by becoming an active volunteer! Nothing is more vital to an organization than the VOLUNTEER!!

KGSA's board of Directors consists of volunteers who are committed to providing a positive experience for all of the children who participate in our league. Each year, the KGSA Board works to organize and administer registrations, team formation, practices, games and facility maintenance. If you are interested in volunteering as a potential member of the KGSA Board of Directors for next season, please contact the
